A Story of Faith & New Beginnings
Trinity Boise traces its roots back to 1979, when it was established as Trinity Fellowship Church, an independent, non-denominational congregation founded by Hank Aguilera. For decades, the church served faithfully in the community.
In the early 2020s, during a season of hardship and transition, Trinity Fellowship reached out to Calvary Boise for support. Through prayer, humility, and shared hope, the two congregations came together in a successful merger, giving new life to what is now known as Trinity Boise.
Calvary Chapel
Trinity Boise is deeply connected to Calvary Boise (formerly Calvary Chapel Boise), where Pastor Reggie Etheridge served faithfully for many years. Having been shaped by the verse-by-verse teaching and heart for community at Calvary Boise, Pastor Reggie was sent out to help teach at Trinity Boise with the same commitment to God's Word and the same love for people that defines the Calvary Chapel family.

Calvary Chapel began in 1965 in Costa Mesa, California, under the leadership of Pastor Chuck Smith. What started as a small church has grown into a worldwide movement of churches united by a commitment to the simple, systematic teaching of God's Word.
